poison of Manchester United!

LONDON - Wayne Rooney will be sidelined for two-to-four weeks because of a sprained ankle, a person close to Manchester United told The Associated Press.

Rooney was hurt in the final minute of Tuesday night's 2-1 Champions League loss at Bayern Munich. The person, who spoke Wednesday on condition of anonymity because the announcement had not been made, said Rooney had not broken any bones and should be fit for the World Cup.

Rooney flew back to Manchester from Munich on Wednesday with his right foot in a protective boot. He scored his 34th goal of the season in the second minute of the game at Allianz Arena.

England coach Fabio Capello says the injury is "terrible" news. England plays its World Cup opener against the United States on June 12.

"I think he will have a scan tomorrow," Capello said Wednesday. "I'm not happy when a player from the England team is injured, it's terrible. It's not a good thing for me. I will speak to him this evening or tomorrow morning."

Rooney is set to miss Saturday's Premier League match against Chelsea at Old Trafford. The result is likely to have a major effect on the title race, with United a point ahead of second-place Chelsea.

An absence of two weeks would rule Rooney out of three games: league matches against Chelsea and Blackburn and the Champions League return leg against Bayern.

Three weeks would mean Rooney also misses the derby at Manchester City. If out for a month, he would be sidelined for the league game against Tottenham and possibly a Champions League semifinal against Lyon or Bordeaux - if United qualifies.

With Michael Owen out for the rest of the season, United is left with Dimitar Berbatov as the team's only veteran forward until Rooney returns.

"England's worst nightmare" said The Times, while the mass circulation Sun had one word: "Pray."

"Get well soon" said the Daily Mail alongside a photo of Rooney grimacing and lying on the turf in pain. "Please don't let this be the moment England's World Cup dream died."

How to increase your happiness and into a happier personality.

Share Your Happiness
Yes it's true; happiness is the only thing that multiplies as you share it. Have you ever felt happier when you share what's making you happy to other people? Nobody can explain it really, but it does happen and that's the important thing. It's simple, but sharing our happiness is a deed most people take for granted. Yet it opens the doors towards a happier disposition and personality.
Capture The Moments So You Can Relive them
This is easier to do now than any other moment in recorded history. With the rise of technology, we can virtually capture any moment in our lives via our digital cameras, video cameras, cell phones, audio recorders, etc.
Nowadays, we are always equipped to capture any event or instance in our lives with our photo or video-enabled mobile phones.
Capture the moments that made you happy so you can take a look at them when you are feeling down. Also, sharing happy moments with other people is much more engaging if you have visual aids as opposed to simply telling the story.
Stop Worrying About The FutureThe irony about happiness is that most people aim to get it, yet when it's there they worry that it will disappear. An example is when people anticipating weekends when at work, and during Sundays worry about the upcoming work week; or when people are on vacation and worrying that they have to go home soon.
I know it sounds like a cliche but really, enjoy the moment and stop worrying about the future; you won't be able to figure it out anyway.
Try Something You Have Been Putting Off For A While
The "what if's" and "shoulda, woulda, coulda's" of life are large burdens to bear. Take the burden off by trying them and dealing with them once and for all.
Only two things can happen anyway, you succeed and you get what you want, or you fail and you get closure. Either way, you'll end up more fulfilled and happier than you ever were.
Yes it's easier said than done, but what you are putting off is usually easier to accomplish than your mind is making it out to be. So go ahead and try them already.
Smile Always !
The most basic yet most effective of them all, also often the most overlooked and underrated. Do you realize that it's impossible to think of negative things while smiling? So you can never go wrong with putting up a smile as often as you can.
Also, smiling is contagious. It's easier to be happy and be a happier person if people around you are smiling as well.
So good luck and work happily!

Top 3 best food to lower cholestrol

There are many heart-healthy foods and supplements along with the latest clinical study results. Among all the foods listed there, I have decided to pick the top 3 super foods which have been shown to lower cholesterol and can be included in a healthy diet on a regular basis.

Oat for Soluble Fiber
Oatmeal and oat bran are rich in soluble fiber, a type of fiber which lowers the bad Low Density Lipoprotein or LDL cholesterol without lowering the good High Density Lipoprotein or HDL cholesterol. In 1997, the FDA authorized a heart disease risk reduction health claim for beta-glucan soluble fiber from oat products. Food products containing oat bran and rolled oats, such as oatmeal, and whole oat flour can bear this health claim.

How much do you need?
Five to 10 grams of soluble fiber a day decreases LDL cholesterol by about 5 percent. Some studies showed that this amount can lower cholesterol by as much as 23 percent. One bowl of oatmeal contains about 3 grams of soluble fiber. Include other soluble-fiber- rich foods such as psyllium, apples, kidney beans, pears and barley.

Nuts for Healthy Fats
Nuts rich in fiber, phytonutrients and antioxidants such as Vitamin E and selenium. These tasty snacks are also high in plant sterols and fat - but mostly monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats, which have all been shown to lower the bad LDL cholesterol.

How much do you need?
In 2003, the FDA recognized the benefits of nuts and their role in heart disease prevention by approving a health claim for seven kinds of nuts (almonds, hazelnuts, peanuts, pecans, some pine nuts, pistachios and walnuts). Limit your intake to ~ 1.5 ounces a day, as nuts are high in calories. The best way to reap the health benefits of nuts is to eat them in replacement of foods that are high in saturated fats such as meat products.

Soya products
Soya products are great substitutes for animal products. In 1999, the FDA recognized the health benefits of soy and heart disease by approving a soya health claim. However, due to conflicting results from a large-scale review performed by the U.S. Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, the AHA Nutrition Committee no longer recommends eating soy to lower cholesterol.

Should you avoid soya then? A simple answer is No. Although soy may not lower cholesterol to the extent we previously thought it could, the US Agency review showed that it can still lower bad LDL cholesterol by 3 percent. Since soya products contain high levels of polyunsaturated fats, fiber, vitamins, and minerals and low levels of saturated fat, AHA does consider soy products a healthy replacement for meats and other foods high in saturated fat and total fat.

How to love yourself?

Give Yourself Some Appreciation
Loving yourself encompasses a show of appreciation. You accept the fact that you are not a perfect person, yet you surround yourself with a positive aura. You would tend to ignore people who give you destructive negative feedback. Just be happy with who you are and you will be happy with your life.
Do not include hate in your daily living, but rather, fill it with love, not just for others but also for yourself.
Give Yourself That Image Boost
Pamper yourself. Treat yourself to the salon and try each of whatever the salon agents have to offer. Having a positive outlook in life already proves that you are beautiful within.
What do you have to lose to actually look beautiful outside, right?
Now, if you are a man and is probably laughing your head off imagining what you would look like with pink-colored nails, you do not have to actually take this tip literally and take yourself to the salon. You could go to your favorite barber shop and have that wonderful lock of yours trimmed. You could also have a relaxing massage after you have aromatherapy.
Spare Time From Your Hectic Schedule
Loving yourself does not necessarily mean that you put your needs and wants above all others. It only means that you spare some time for yourself. Actually relaxing and just feeling the breeze are something that you have not done for a very long time. And you realize that it is about time you actually spared some to enjoy the wonders of nature.
Mirroring
How you see yourself is how other people will see you as well. If you treat yourself like a piece of junk, other people will definitely treat you like so, if not even worse. If you want others to accept and love you for who you really are, then you have to accept and love yourself first.
Forgive Yourself.
You have to cut yourself some slack. Nobody is perfect and everybody commits mistakes of their own kind. For sure, you have your own share of embarrassing and hair-raising mistakes that will probably make some people meet their eyebrows when they see you.
Even if this is the case, you have to learn to forgive yourself. You cannot truly love yourself if you have some skeletons in the closet you are trying to deny to yourself. You have to be open to yourself and just forget your shortcomings.

You have to actually believe that you are worthy of love. Believing that you are totally unworthy of this healthy and pleasant value proves that you do not love yourself. There is a popular saying that you cannot give away what you do not have.

If you do not, or at least, find it in you to actually love yourself, then what you claim to be your love for others is highly questionable. Reciprocally, they will also not be comfortable in showing their own personal version of love for you.
Another thing that you could do to help yourself in loving yourself is to stop whatever is harmful for you. If you have vices that you just can't get out of, well, it is about time that you do. Because if you truly love yourself, you would know just how valuable you are and quit those activities and things that can pose any harm towards you and your health.
Always remember that the more loving you are to yourself, then the more others who are close to you, or those whom you want to love you back, can also be more loving towards you.

How to Test Water Purity

Step One
Request a Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) from your water district. Municipalities are now required to send these to homeowners yearly. This report will tell you about the water that is coming to your house.

Step Two
Run some tap water into a clear glass and look closely at it in good lighting. Is it clear or discolored? Do you see sediment in the water? Smell the water; expect a faint smell of chlorine (like a swimming pool) if you are on a city water supply, but any other smell - particularly that of rotten eggs - indicates that your water should be tested. Check drains, fixtures and porcelain items such as toilets and tubs for red, green, blue or brown staining.

Step Three
Ask the local health department or Cooperative Extension Service (part of the U.S. Department of Agriculture) for the name of a reputable local water-quality testing facility. If you live in a municipality, your water will be of a consistent quality; you won't need to have it tested every year.
Step Four
Alternatively, buy a home water test from a hardware store. While less accurate than a lab test, it's a less expensive alternative.

Step Five
Be especially conscious of your water quality if you have a private water supply, such as a well. You alone are responsible for your water. Test well water for herbicides and insecticides when you first move in, and then at least twice that first year (early spring and late fall) for coliforms (bacteria) and nitrates, and once a year for lead, pH and total dissolved solids (TDS). If you do any work on your well, notice chemical use on or near your property, or see any of the above-mentioned indicators, have your water checked.

Step Six
Have the water tested when you move into a new home so that you will have a baseline guide for future water testing. Check for coliforms, calcium, copper, iron, lead, magnesium, nitrates, pH, sodium, sulfate, zinc and TDS. Tips & WarningsSometimes just-poured tap water is cloudy from air bubbles. This cloudiness should clear within a minute or two and isn't anything to be concerned about.

Nutrition Facts of Papaya

Though it resembles a tree, a papaya plant is actually an overgrown herb, known as an herbaceous perennial. Grown worldwide in tropical climates, papaya is believed to have originated in Mexico and Central America..

The most common use for papaya is to aid digestion. Papayas are the only natural source of papain, an effective natural digestive aid, which breaks down protein and cleanses the digestive track. This means less food settles into the metabolism and becomes fat, making papayas’ natural digestive properties an advantage to people trying to lose weight — especially for people who may cheat on their diets, said Homero Levy de Barros, president and CEO, Caliman International.

But in addition to assisting the body in digestion, papayas pack a nutritional wallop. Known as a “nutritional masterpiece,” papayas are rich in vitamin C, folate, and potassium. They are also good sources of fiber, vitamin A, vitamin E, the eye-saving carotenoids lutein and zeaxanthin, and lycopene. A papaya has a lycopene level of about 2,000 ug per 100g (or 3,000 ug in one slice of papaya of 150g).

“You can debate which fruit is the number one in nutrition, depending upon a variety of factors,” Levy de Barros said. “But for people who know the nutritional make-up of fruit, certainly the papaya would be in the top three of almost everyone's list.” Papayas have 33% more vitamin C and 50% more potassium than oranges with fewer calories. Papayas have 13 times more vitamin C and more than twice the potassium than apples. Papayas have four times more vitamin E than both apples and oranges.

Papayas vary in size, ranging from about 1 to 20 pounds and 7 to 20 inches long, depending on the variety. Eat about 2 cups of papaya daily.

A ripe papaya has a golden-yellow outer skin. On the inside, its flesh is smooth and silky with a deep yellow-orange or pinkish-orange color and a sweet-musky flavor. Its large center cavity is packed with small, round, black seeds, which are edible. Their peppery flavor tastes great in a salad or salsa or blended into sauces or salad dressings.
